This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use vigilancelabs.info or contact us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

This policy covers our website and our sales conversations. When we run Afelion, Robotics, VR or a custom project for a client, the data handled in that work is covered by our agreement with that client.
What we collect
When you fill in the form
Your full name and phone number. With them we store the page you sent the form from, your browser's user agent, and the time it was sent. A hidden field helps us filter out automated spam.
When you call, WhatsApp or email us
Your phone number or email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to tell us in the conversation.
When you browse the site
Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical data with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. See our cookie policy.
How we use it
- To reply to you, call you back and answer your questions.
- To arrange demos, pilots, quotes and projects you ask about.
- To keep a record of our conversations so the right person can follow up.
- To keep the website running, secure and free of spam.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We process your data because you asked us to contact you or to take steps towards an agreement, because of our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, or where the law requires it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under terms that require them to protect it:
- Supabase, which stores the details sent through our form.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which deliver fonts and code libraries to your browser and so receive your IP address.
- Our email and messaging providers, including WhatsApp, when you contact us through them.
We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
International transfers
Some of these providers store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates. For example, the database that holds form submissions is hosted in the United States. Where data leaves the UAE, we rely on the safeguards available under UAE law, such as the provider's contractual commitments to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to follow up with you and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case our client agreement applies. We delete data sooner if you ask and we have no legal reason to keep it.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your data;
- restrict or stop certain processing, or object to it;
- send your data to you or another organisation in a structured format;
- withdraw any consent you gave.
Email connect@vigilancelabs.info with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that the public website can write to but cannot read from. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive data such as passport or payment details through the website.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
