The short version: our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other sites.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job in a different way. This policy covers both.
What our site uses
- Main website. vigilancelabs.info does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising tools.
- Our presentation. The Afelion presentation at brief.vigilancelabs.info stores two display settings in your browser's local storage (whether the slide list is shown, and how wide it is), so it looks the same when you come back. It is not used to identify you.
Third parties
To show the site, your browser loads a few files from other providers. They receive your IP address and basic browser details when it does:
- Google Fonts, for the fonts.
- jsDelivr, for the code library that sends our contact form.
- Supabase, which receives the details you submit in the form.
- Vercel, which hosts the site.
If you follow a link to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram or Google Maps, those services may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The website will still work.
Changes
If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where required.
